Meet the Team

White River Anglers is Joe Nothum and John Hill, tournament partners who've fished team trails together for [X] years. Whichever one of them guides your trip, you're fishing with someone sharpened by real competition, not just weekend experience.

"BEST DAY ON THE WATER. PERIOD."

"Booked a half-day trip not knowing what to expect and Joe put us on fish within 20 minutes. He read the conditions, adjusted the plan on the fly, and we ended up with our best day of bass fishing. Already rebooked before we were off the water."

Lain McCanless, Table Rock

Why Choose White River Anglers?

a tournament-built standard

White River Anglers started with two competitors, Joe Nothum and John Hill, fishing team trails together. That's the standard every guide on the team gets held to: read the water fast, adjust on the fly, put you on fish.

matched with the right guide

As the team grows to include more guides, you're not just getting whoever's free that day. We match you with the guide who fits your trip, whether that's a fast-paced day chasing numbers, a technical trip working the electronics, or a patient morning teaching someone new the basics.

one team, shared intel

Our guides talk. When someone finds the pattern on Bull Shoals one morning, the rest of the team knows about it that afternoon. You get the whole team's read on the water, not just one person's.

TABLE ROCK Lake

Week of October 5, 2026

Fall patterns are setting in nicely across Table Rock this week. The shad migration is in full swing, pushing baitfish into the creek arms and drawing bass out of their summer haunts. Early morning topwater action has been outstanding — walking baits and poppers along bluff walls are producing consistent 3 to 4 pound largemouth with a few quality smallmouth mixed in.
